ANALYSIS OF RELIABILITY CONFIDENCE LIMITS OF FATIGUE DAMAGE STRENGTH OF CONCRETE

  • Combining the fatigue experiments of C15 concrete specimen and the inversion results of a concrete gravity dam, a low-cycle fatigue strength model with low-damage quantity considering reliability confidence limits for the concrete is established based on the three-parameter Weibull distribution. The curves describing the relationships among the fatigue strength, fatigue life and damage quantity of the concrete, γ-P-S-N and γ-P-S-D, are obtained using the proposed confidence limit functions. The method proposed in the paper is useful for the reliability confidence analysis of the fatigue damage strength of the concrete subjected to a high stress level, the reliability design of the concrete strength with damage as well as the reliability assessment of a concrete structure.
