MODELS OF CABLE-GIRDER ANCHORAGE FOR LONG-SPAN CABLE-STAYED BRIDGES WITH STEEL BOX GIRDER

  • Several typical models of cable-girder anchorage for long-span cable-stayed bridges with steel box girder, such as anchor-box, auricular anchor plate, anchor-pipe, tensile anchor plate, are described. Based on the static test and theoretical analysis of the several typical cable-girder anchorages, the stress distribution and stress concentration of anchorage zone are studied and compared. The measures to reform stress distribution and to reduce stress concentration are discussed. Some useful conclusions which are beneficial to the design of bridges are obtained.
