STABILITY ANALYSIS OF HUGE SPACIAL FRAME STRUCTURES OF SUPER TALL BUILDINGS

  • A new simplifying model for the stability analysis of huge spacial frame structures of super tall buildings, is presented in the paper. The huge spacial frame structure is simplified as an assemblage of its huge columns and huge elastically supported beams whose elastic supports is provided by the axial stiffness of its accessorial columns. The stability analysis based on the spacial rigid-joint frame structure is performed. The results are shown to be reasonable. Therefore, the model and method will supply a reliable and feasible computing approach for stability analysis of super tall buildings with huge spacial frame structures.
