SOME PROBLEMS ON PLANNING AND CONSTRUCTION OF THE NEW DISTRICT OF JINGGANGSHAN CITY

Jinggangshan Mountain as the First Rural Revolutionary Base of China has become one of the first scenic spots protected specially by the nation. The central district of Jinggangshan city will be relocated from Ciping to Changyilin for the conservation of the scenic spots. In this paper, the guiding ideology and design aims about the overall planning of the new district are introduced on basis of the history background, natural environment and position condition of the city. Some problems on the planning and construction are discussed from the city size, city ecology, city layout and cityscape.
