  • The function and importance of the mechanics on the pathogenesis and therapy of bone and spine trauma are enunciated. This paper is organized into the following form: In Section 1, the biomechanics foundation and the conformation and makeup of the bones and spines are presented. The relevant basic knowledge of the biomechanics. the mensuration of the biomechanics parameters of the bones and spines and the influence of the strain rate of the intervertebral discs and other parenchyma on the mechanical performance of the bones are discussed. In Section 2, the detrimental mechanical action, which is the main factor inducing the bone and parenchyma trauma, is pointed out. The attribute of the physical mechanical action and the mechanism of the good mechanical action inducing the spine trauma are discussed. The merits and the restrictions of the mechanism of the traditional Chinese massage to cervical vertebrae, lumbar and shoulder joint are stated in Section 3. In section 4, the real time measure and the judgment about a medical instrument are studied. It is indicated that the mechanization, automatization and the use of information technology are the developing trend of the traditional Chinese medicine. Conclusions are given in Section 5.
