  • An overall developmentof bridge construction in Chongqing is introduced in this paper. The aerodynamic study of long-span arch bridges is reviewed with the example of the Chongqing Caiyuanba Changjiang bridge. The results and analysis methods of wind resistant performance of long-span half through arch bridges are presented. The present review covers the wind tunnel test, the numerical simulation and the design of arch bridges.
