THE EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH ON REINFORCED CONCRETE COLUMN BY HRBF500 BARS

  • Based on the uniaxial loading research on nine axially loded columns and ten eccentrically loaded reinforced concrete columns, the strength design value of HRBF500 is proposed to be taken as the value of 420MPa, in the axially and eccentrically loaded reinforced concrete columns. The test results show that the crack width of the eccentrically compressed members is lower than the flexural component members. Therefore, the force coefficient characteristics of the eccentrically compressed members are suggested to be reduced, and provides the recommended value of the force coefficient characteristics of components. This proposal may be as a
    reference for future revision of the Chinese Design Code.
