NUMERICAL RESEARCH ON THE ANTI-SHOCK CAPABILITY OF PLATE-FRAME STRUCTURE COATED WITH ACOUSTIC COVERING LAYER

  • In order to improve submarine’s hiding function, noise elimination tile is covered on exterior surface with the non-pressure shell; Deadening and decoupling tile is laid on exterior surface of the pressure shell; And damping layer is covered on inner surface with pressure shell (these three structures introduced above are all called multiple acoustic layer). Since the acoustic layer has special cavity structures in it, the cavity body will generate distortion and absorb energy when it encounters explosive shock waves. This will affect submarine’s anti-shock performance seriously. This paper will investigate on the energy absorption capability of plate-frame structure coated with acoustic layer, find relationship between structure’s distortion, velocity, acceleration and energy absorption capability, get structure’s anti-shock capability, and optimize it. Based on this, the paper also provides some suggestions about design and performance parameters of structures coated with acoustic layer, which provide both shock resistance and vibration isolation.
