ANALYTICAL METHODS FOR THE WHOLE PRESTRESSING PROCESS OF ARCH-SUSPENDED PRESTRESSED SPACE GRIDS

  • This paper focuses on the whole prestressing process analysis for arch-suspended prestressed space grids. This structural type has been applied to Wuhan Yangtse-River model-testing hall. Considering its characteristics and from the viewpoint of cable initial deformation, the stiffness theory is established for this structure. Some methods are brought forth, such as mixed influence matrix method, cycling iterative method, sequential analysis method, and sequential-inverse iterative method. The proposed methods are also suitable for other similar hybridized structures. Wuhan Yangtse-River model-testing hall is taken as a numerical example. The results show the accuracy and efficiency of the proposed methods.
