DAMAGE DIAGNOSIS OF OFFSHORE STRUCTURES BASED ON RESPONSES OF A PART OF NODES

  • The fitness function and objective function are composed of the first 3 order frequencies and incomplete structural responses and the damage of structures are diagnosed with improved CHC algorithm. Comparing with SGA, the genetic generation and the time consumed by structural response calculation are reduced largely with the same level of the errors. The case studies show that the satisfied results of the damage location and assessment of a jacket offshore platform can be expected based on different sensor placements.
