FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS ON DYNAMIC CHARACTERISTICS OF BOILER STEEL STRUCTURE UNDER WIND LOAD

  • Dynamic characteristics of boiler steel structure under wind load were studied. The three dimensional structural model of a boiler steel structure was set up by space beam finite element method. Considering wind load effect, the static analysis of boiler steel structure was conducted using ANSYS software. The self-oscillation equation of the structure was resolved by Lanczos vector iteration, and the self-oscillation characteristics of boiler steel structure was studied. The dynamic response of the structure was given by response spectrum method. The results showed that the stress and deformation of the structure were small under wind load, and they satisfied the requirement of the design code.
