KEY TECHNOLOGY OF TIANXINGZHOU YANGTZE RIVER BRIDGE

  • Tianxingzhou Yangtze River Bridge at Wuhan is an important bridge across Yangtze River on the High Speed Special Passenger Railway from Beijing to Guangzhou. It is a double-tower cable stayed bridge with three-cable planes, and the cross section of the main span is composed of 3 trusses. The main span is 504m and it has double decks of rail and road. This paper mainly introduces the key technology and research results of the structural system, the main truss structure, the foundation, and construction techniques etc.
