A PHYSICAL PARAMETER IDENTIFICATION ALGORITHM BASED ON STRUCTURE DYNAMIC BEHAVIOR AND ITS APPLICATION

  • A simple and practical physical parameter identification algorithm for structures is investigated in this paper. Finite element analysis software and dynamical testing technique combined with classical mathematical theories, such as uniform design and regression analysis are contributed to this algorithm. The algorithm proposed offers an efficient approach for the physical parameter identification in frequency-domain analysis. A lot of numerical calculation and practical application cases show that when the system is characterized as repeatability and stability, especially the unidentified parameter is single or double, the algorithm can identify the parameter successfully. In order to verify the effectiveness and the feasibility for physical problems of the algorithm, parts of the joint stiffness in boundary for a steel truss are identified with the algorithm. An acceptable and satisfying result shows that the proposed algorithm can be applied to solve many physical problems.
