IMPROVED METHOD FOR MULTIPLE SCATTERING UNDER SV INCIDENT WAVES AND ANALYISIS OF VIBRATION ISOLATION

  • Compared with the conventional multiple scattering theories for vibration isolation of Aviles, an improved expansion method of wave functions using more complete Fourier-Bessel function series was adopted in this paper. With the help of boundary conditions of continuous displacements and Graf’s addition theorem which is in a more generalized perspective, the analytical solutions for multiple scattering by an arbitrary configuration of parallel cylinders under the incidence of SV waves were deduced. Then, all the cylinders have been rearranged in two parallel lines, which convert the problem into vibration isolation using multiple rows of rigid piles. The normalized displacements and the transmission index were introduced to study the vibration isolation system. Besides, the discussion mainly focused on the effect of the system with varied h, the distance between two rows.
