Abstract
An incompatible 8-node solid element and a 3D constitutive relationship algorithm at elevated temperatures are developed for modeling of structures subjected to bending at elevated temperatures. The phenomenon of initially converged stress locking of incremental constitutive algorithm at elevated temperatures is identified and solved. Numerical studies show that the current model can model the structures in bending accurately and efficiently.
