  • External sticking of fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) plates or sheets are widely used for strengthening masonry structures. The behaviour of the FRP-brick interface is crucial to transferring stresses. A computational model is proposed in this paper to simulate the behaviour of bond-slip interface between FRP and brick. Using the computational model, the load-displacement curve, the slip distributions and the bond stress distributions of FRP-brick interface are simulated successfully. A comparison between the computed results and experiment results shows that the model is feasible.
