SIMULATION ANALYSIS OF STEEL TRUSSES INTEGRAL LIFT IN SHANGHAI PORT INTERNATIONAL TRANSPORTATION CENTER

  • Installation of large-span steel roof trusses is a controlling step in the construction of SB11 building in Shanghai Port International Transportation Center, which calls for a reasonable installation scheme. To develop the installation scheme, characteristics of the structure and construction site were considered, and integral lift technology was used. Based on three-dimensional finite element method and incorporating the mechanic properties of the Q345B steel used for the structure, simulation analysis model was established using Bernoulli-Euler beam elements. Eigenvalue buckling analysis was carried out for the trusses so as to provide parameters for stability control; Simulation analysis for the lifting padeye under different displacement differences was performed and critical values were obtained to guide the construction. It is shown by the actual practice that the parameters calculated by simulation analysis were reasonable.
