SIMULATION AND ANALYSIS ON THE GAS/WATER TWO-PHASE BALLISTICS OF TRANS-MEDIA AIRCRAFT

  • The trans-media aircraft is a new concept amphibious aircraft, which has been affected by an aerodynamic force and a hydrodynamic force, and its kinetics is different from that of a normal aircraft or a planning boat. Based on aerodynamics and planar sliding theory, a dynamic model for the slide jump ballistics of the trans-media was developed. The characteristic and factors of slide jump ballistics of aircrafts have been simulated and analyzed especially. The results show that the length of jump and the power force of engine have a obvious influence on the characteristics of slide jump ballistics. It gives a theoretical foundation or a study tool for the conceptual design of trans-media, ballistics design optimization and flight stability assessment.
