SENSITIVITY ANALYSIS BASED ON FINITE ELEMENT OF B-SPLINE WAVELETS FOR PIEZOELECTRIC LAMINATES

  • Based on BSWI wavelets element method, the analytical expressions of sensitivity coefficients of static response for composite laminates are derived in Hamiltonian Systems. Distribution of sensitivity coefficients of stress and displacements in z direction are studied by semi-analytical methods. The numerical results of semi-analytical methods are compared with those of the finite difference methods, demonstrating the reliability of semi-analytical methods based on wavelets and Hamiltonian Systems. The results of semi-analytical methods show that, when the piezoelectric laminates simply supported on four sides are subjected to pre unit uniform compressive stress, the sensitivity coefficients of displacements u and w are similar, and greater than those of v. The variation range of the sensitivity coefficients of displacements u and v are greater than those of w in z direction.
