IMPROVED DYNAMIC MATRIX PREDICTIVE CONTROL FOR STRUCTURAL VIBRATION REDUCTION OF SPATIAL LATTICED STRUCTURES WITH VARIABLE TIME DELAY

  • This paper was focused on the wind vibration control of Spatial Latticed Structure (SLS) with variable time delay. The composition of variable time delay in SLS was investigated. Based on the dynamic predictive control strategy, the new control model and optimization strategy were constituted, an improved method for the wind vibration control of SLS with variable time delay was put forward, and some principles for choosing control parameters were discussed in details. It is emphasized that the prediction for aftertime outputs and the choice of sampling periods play a key role in the vibration control of SLS with variable time delay. Furthermore, choosing the single layer latticed barrel vaults as an example, a series of computation and comparison of the vibration control with variable time delay or without time delay were carried out. The research result showed that the dynamic matrix predictive control method is effective to the vibration reduction of SLS with variable time delay.
