ANALYSIS OF LANDSLIDE THRUST ACTING ON EMBEDDED ANTI-SLIDE PILE

  • The finite element strength reduction method was used to analyze the landslide thrust acting on an embedded anti-slide pile. The results show that: the landslide thrust acting on an embedded pile is equivalent to the landslide thrust acting on a full-length pile, and the thrust is related to the design safety factor. Under the condition of ultimate failure, the longer the cantilever section of the pile, the greater the corresponding stability safety factor when the sliding body is sliding on the top of the pile, and the greater the landslide thrust acting on the pile. As a result, it is proposed that in the design of an embedded anti-slide pile to strengthen landslide, the reasonable length of the embedded pile can be determined by strength reduction numerical method according to the design safety factor. The landslide thrust borne by the embedded pile can be directly calculated by the finite element strength reduction method, or can be checked by the traditional limit equilibrium method according to the full-length of the pile
