STUDY ON THE WIND LOAD DISTRIBUTION OF CIRCULAR COAL SHEDS

  • Recent new coal sheds are developing rapidly in the direction of large span and light weight, which are a kind of wind-sensitive structure, so it is of great significance to study the wind load. In this paper, a new round coal-shed grid structure is studied. By the wind tunnel test method, the distributions of the wind load carrier type coefficients at the top and bottom of the coal shed under different wind angles are studied. The interaction of wind load carrier type coefficients between two adjacent circular coal sheds is analyzed. The results show that under different wind angles, the top of the coal roof is subjected to negative pressure. When the distance between the two coal fields is small, the wind-load carrier type coefficients of the two coal sheds have obvious influence on each other. It is found that the absolute value of the wind load carrier type coefficient is relatively small in the area between the two coal sheds.
