INTERACTION MODEL BETWEEN SEGMENT LINING MIXED WITH COMPRESSIBLE CERAMIC AND SURROUNDING ROCK

  • A yielding technology of segment lining mixed with compressible ceramic was proposed, which is suitable for tunneling in creep stratum using TBM method. The model test is carried out to analyze the yield effect of compressible ceramic. Based on the test, a theoretical model of the interaction between surrounding rock, ceramic and segment lining was established, considering the compressibility of ceramic and creep of surrounding rock. The surrounding rock deformation and segment lining supporting pressure under different tunnel depth and ceramic thickness were obtained, also the calculation method of the minimum thickness of ceramic ensuring segment lining safety in creep stratum was obtained. The results show that the honeycomb pore structure of ceramic made to be high compressibility, which can effectively absorb the surrounding rock creep deformation and reduce segment lining support pressure, and that the theoretical model can efficiently analyze the interaction between the surrounding rock and ceramic compressible layer and segmental lining, a guiding significance for the design of ceramic thickness. The results also have a certain reference value for the design of support structures for tunneling in creep stratum using TBM method in the future.
