ANALYSIS ON HYSTERETIC BEHAVIOR OF STEEL REINFORCED CONCRETE FRAME WITH SPECIAL-SHAPED COLUMNS

  • In order to study the hysteretic behavior of steel reinforced concrete (SRC) frame with special-shaped columns, three models were tested under low cyclic reversed loading. The test results show that the hysteretic loops of SRC frame with special-shaped columns is full and symmetry, indicating a good energy dissipation capacity. The seismic behavior of solid SRC frame with special-shaped columns is superior to that of lattice SRC frame with special-shaped columns. Based on OpenSees, the finite element analysis on the hysteretic behavior of SRC frame with special-shaped columns was conducted. Compared with the test results, the calculated results show good agreement. According to the results of test and finite element simulation, the skeleton model and the degradation law of unloading stiffness were acquired, and then the restoring force model was established. This study can provide reference for the elasto-plastic analysis of SRC frame with special-shaped columns.
