PURE BENDING OF SELF-COMPACTING CONCRETE-FILLED DOUBLE SKIN STEEL TUBES

  • Pure bending tests were carried out on self-compacting concrete-filled double skin steel tubes with five different hollowness ratios (0.00~1.00) to study the relationship between pure bending and the hollowness ratio, The test results showed that this kind of structure has good deformation resistance and late-stage bending bearing capacity. Also, at a hollowness ratio of 0.71, the flexural bearing capacity is high, and in the course of the experiment, both the compression zone and the section center experienced movement.
