DYNAMIC RESPONSE ANALYSIS OF COLUMN JOINT MECHANISMS WITH NON-TOLERANCE CLEARANCE

  • A kind of contact model describing the column joint with non-tolerance clearance is proposed to solve the problem of low precision of Hertz contact modal for convexity and concave mechanisms impacting in ADAMS. The rigidity coefficient of Goldsmish modal and the non-linearity rigidity coefficient gained by updated elasticity-based contact model are assembled, and the normal contact force model which is more suitable for non-tolerance clearance is set up. The LuGre friction force is introduced to describe the reciprocity as the tangential contact force. The normal contact force is validated by ANSYS software numerically; furthermore, the gun tube and cradle are simulated dynamically. The result can reflect the effect for gun tube and cradle dynamic characteristic by non-tolerance and afford the reference for studying the infection for gun fire precision by cradle structure parameters, and the improved contact model can afford more veracious model for other dynamic response analysis of column joint mechanisms with non-tolerance clearance.
