EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF STRESS-STRAIN CURVE OF CARBON FIBER REINFORCED CONCRETE

  • In order to investigate the stress-strain curve of carbon fiber reinforced concrete further, the piecewise curve of stress-strain relationship is used on the basis of the existing tests. Based on the axial compression experiments of 9 carbon fiber concrete reinforced samples with different dosages of carbon fiber, the theoretical calculating formula of the stress-strain curve with different dosage contents was proposed, and the theoretical formula of calculation parameters and carbon fiber volume fraction were proposed. The test results show that the calculation parameters of the stress-strain curve increase with the carbon fiber dosage. The theoretical calculating formula of the peak strain and carbon fiber volume fraction, the compressive strength, and the calculated results agreed well with those of experimental results.
