ANALYSIS METHOD FOR VIBRATORY RESPONSES OF STATION STRUCTURES UNDER MULTIPLE EXCITATION SOURCES

  • The station structures comprising of several structural layers suffer multiple excitations such as train moving, human walking and equipment operating, but a reasonable analysis method for vibration responses of station structures under multiple excitation sources has not been proposed. In this paper, the response of station structures under each excitation was analyzed in both time and frequency domains and superposed by the weighted power coherent superposition method which is based on Root Mean Square considering the frequency overlap among the structural responses under each excitation, and the rationality and applicability of the weighted power coherent superposition method was also demonstrated. A numerical example of Tianjin West Station under three excitation sources including train moving, human walking and equipment operating was analyzed by both the proposed method and simple sum method. The results indicate that the Root Mean Square interval of structural responses calculated by the proposed method could envelope the result of simple sum method.
