地震中室内浮放设备的浑沌响应

CHAOTIC RESPONSE OF FREESTANDING INDOOR EQUIPMENT UNDER EARTHQUAKE

  • 摘要: 在地震中,象计算机一类的浮放设备可能发生滑动、摇晃或倾覆而造成损失。本文将浮放设备简化为刚性块体,并把放置设备的基础视为刚性的,研究了在谐振基础上块体的摇晃、倾覆响应,发现在摇晃运动中,存在周期、准周期和浑沌三种类型,揭示了系统对初始条件变化十分敏感的内在本质。

     

    Abstract: The free-standing equipment could be damaged because of their sliding, rocking and toppling during a seismic event. In this paper, the free-standing equipment is modeled as a rigid body, and the base on which the equipment is placed is regarded to be rigid. The response of the rigid body on a harmonically motivated base is studied, and it is discovered that in the overturning movement there exist three types of response, the periodic, quasi-periodic and chaotic. The reason the response of this system is sensitive to initial condition is uncovered.
