ANALYSIS OF FREE VIBRATIONS OF SHAPE MEMORY ALLOY HYBRID COMPOSITE BEAMS

  • 摘要: 提出一类形状记忆合金(SMA)纤维混杂层合梁的数学模型。采用多胞模型、形状记忆合金一维本构关系分析方法,同时考虑铁木辛柯剪切和马氏体相变的影响。目的是为了更进一步了解层合梁的振动控制。SMA纤维用来作为驱动器,它能够改变弹性模量和回复力,以此改变梁的频率。分析了SMA纤维含量、铺设角度和横向剪切变形的影响。结果表明,通过激活形状记忆合金纤维及改变初始变形,对层合梁的自振频率有很强的控制和调节能力。

     

    Abstract: The mathematical model of a shape memory alloy (SMA) hybrid composite beam is presented. This model has been developed based on the one-dimensional SMA constitutive equation, a multicell model, theTimoshenko beam theory as well as the martensitic phase transformation of the SMA fibers embedded in the hybrid composite beam. The objective is to further understand the vibration control of the SMA hybrid composite beams. The SMA fibers are used as actuators, which are capable of changing their elastic modulus and recovery stress, thus changing the natural frequency of the vibrating beam. The effects of SMA fiber volume ratio, fiber orientation and transverse shear deformation are investigated. Numerical results show that the SMA fibers can increase the free vibration frequencies significantly.
