Abstract:
Compared with bridge piles in fat ground, the bearing mechanism of a pile-column bridge pier foundation in a high and steep slope mainly includes a steep slope effect and an embedded depth effect. Firstly, the residual sliding force of high and steep slopes is deduced based on the theory of limit equilibrium. Secondly, based on the force analysis of a pile-column micro-unit, the deflection differential equation and power series solution of internal force and deformation analysis are derived. The rationality of the solution is verified after the comparative analysis of a model test. On this basis, the pile diameter, embedded depths and safety factors of slopes for pile-column design and calculation are discussed through the comparative analysis of a project example. And then the design and calculation method of a pile-column bridge pier foundation in a high and steep slope is proposed, in order to give a reference for bridge pile design.
