肌纤维对植入大白鼠体内不同时期的羟基磷灰石压缩强度的影响

THE IMPACT OF MUSCLE FIBER ON THE COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH OF HYDROXYAPATITE SAMPLES IMPLANTED INTO THE RAT AT DIFFERENT PERIODS

  • 摘要: 为了确定羟基磷灰石植入体内后周围肌纤维对其承载能力的影响,该研究将羟基磷灰石植入大白鼠的背部肌肉中,在不同时间取出,测定其压缩强度的变化,以确定肌纤维在羟基磷灰石中生长对强度的影响。实验发现羟基磷灰石植入体内后,肌纤维向羟基磷灰石孔隙内生长,羟基磷灰石的强度随之变化,从植入前的11.53MPa增加到植入后20d的14.84MPa,但40d、60d和80d后基本不再增加。分析认为当羟基磷灰石植入体内后,纤维组织向其孔隙内生长,尤其是长入微孔隙,附着于其表面时增加了羟基磷灰石表层的强度。相当于一层复合材料薄壳包裹在羟基磷灰石的表面而提高了总体的强度。而当软组织自身继续生长时,新生的纤维组织将在原组织表面生长,而不会再向羟基磷灰石内部生长,由于软组织的刚度和强度都很低,对基体基本不再起增强作用,使得羟基磷灰石植入体内20d后材料的强度不再有明显增加。

     

    Abstract: In order to determine the impact of muscle fibers on the load bearing capability of hydroxyapatites in vivo, hydroxyapatitie samples were implanted into the rat’s back muscles for different periods of the time. Then the compressive strength of the samples with attached muscles or soft tissues was measured in vivo. The strength of the implanted samples increases as muscles fibers growing into their micro pores. The compressive strength increases from 11.53 MPa before implantation to 14.84 MPa 20 days after implantation, then the increase is almost stopped 40, 60, 80 days after implantation. When the muscle fibers or soft tissues grow into the micro pores or are attached to the surfaces of hydroxyapatite samples, the strength of the surface layers is reinforced by the soft fibers, which perform as a composite shell wrapping over the inner hydroxyapatite and lead to the increase of strength. After the micro pores are full of fibers or the surfaces have been covered with soft tissues, new soft tissues will grow outside rather than into the micro pores and then reinforcing effect becomes weaker. This is the reason why the strength stops increasing after 20 days implantation.
