METHOD TO ASSESS FATIGUE STRENGTH OF TREAD BREKING OF METRO VEHICLE WHEEL AND ITS APPLICATION

  • 摘要: 地铁车轮在运用中受到与车轮转动相关的高频次轮轨载荷和频繁的闸瓦制动热负荷的联合作用,是导致车轮疲劳失效的主要原因。该文采用有限元法模拟了全程实际运营下车轮的制动热应力和轮轨机械应力,并分析了热应力与轮轨机械应力的叠加模式,进而提出了地铁车轮疲劳强度评价的思路和方法。通过实例分析:揭示出了制动和车轮踏面磨耗量对车轮疲劳强度的影响规律。

     

    Abstract: The fatigue failure of metro vehicle wheel results from the high-frequency wheel-rail loads and thermal loads duo to frequent braking during service. The analysis method for mechanical stress and thermal stress of metro vehicle wheel under full service cycle is put forward on the basis of axial symmetry finite element model. And then the superimposition principle of mechanical loads and thermal loads is investigated. Thus, the method to assess the fatigue strength of the metro vehicle wheel is established. Finally, a case study shows the influence of braking and tread wear on the wheel fatigue strength.
