Abstract:
Stainless steel ring groove rivets combine the excellent properties of stainless steel (high corrosion resistance, high reliability) with the high structural reliability of groove rivets, showing broad application prospects in fields such as corrosion-resistant structural connections for aluminum alloys and stainless steel, as well as large-span spaces, building facades, and scientific installations. Based on a review of well-known engineering application cases, this paper systematically summarizes key research on stainless steel ring groove rivets and their joints and structural systems, including experimental studies on mechanical properties, numerical simulations, and theoretical analyses, and summarizes the mature technologies and design methods developed. Research indicates that these rivets exhibit high compatibility with substrates such as aluminum alloys and stainless steel, and their application technology in structural engineering is already quite mature. Future research could focus on expanding studies in areas such as high-temperature mechanical properties, the development of single-sided groove rivets, etc. to further broaden their application scenarios and build a more comprehensive product system.
