预应力CFRP加固T型圆钢管节点疲劳性能试验研究

EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATION ON FATIGUE BEHAVIOR OF PRESTRESSED CFRP STRENGTHENED CIRCULAR HOLLOW SECTION T-JOINTS

  • 摘要: 针对钢管节点几何形状复杂、焊缝附近应力集中严重的问题,该文提出一种预应力CFRP片材加固钢管节点的张拉锚固系统,通过试验研究预应力CFRP加固的T型圆钢管节点的疲劳性能。对5个预应力CFRP加固节点试件和1个未加固试件进行了支管轴向拉力静力加载,比较主管焊缝附近的热点应力分布情况;随后施加拉-拉疲劳荷载,记录疲劳破坏模式和三阶段疲劳寿命。试验结果表明:所提出的预应力CFRP片材张拉锚固系统在静力和疲劳加载过程中均未发现CFRP片材有断裂、脱黏、滑动等情况;施加预应力在主管焊缝附近引入不均匀的受压热点应力,改变了初始热点应力的分布情况,热点应力最大值明显降低,在外荷载作用下最大降低38%;预应力的引入改变了疲劳破坏模式,明显提升了各阶段的疲劳寿命,预应力加固试件的贯穿管壁疲劳寿命最大延长了126%。

     

    Abstract: Due to the geometry complexity, stress concentration is normally observed at the weld toe. This study proposed a scheme of prestressed CFRP sheets for fatigue strengthening of circular hollow section (CHS) T-joints. Static axial tension loading was applied to the brace of five prestressed CFRP strengthened CHS T-joints and one reference specimen to compare hot spot stress distribution in the chord along the weld toe. Afterward, the specimens were subjected to tension-tension fatigue cycles. The fatigue failure mode was carefully recorded. Fatigue lives in three fatigue failure criteria were determined and compared, including the crack initiation fatigue life N2, the through thickness fatigue life N3, and the end of test fatigue life N4. The scheme of prestressed CFRP sheets for the fatigue strengthening was proved feasible, since no CFRP fracture, debonding or slip were found during static and fatigue loading. Uneven compressive hot spot stress in the chord along the weld toe was introduced due to CFRP prestress, leading to change in distribution of the initial hot spot stress. The maximum hot spot stress was significantly reduced by up to 38%. The fatigue failure mode was changed due to introduction of prestress. The prestressed CFRP strengthened CHS T-joints exhibited a longer fatigue life than that of the unstrengthened joint regardless of fatigue failure criteria (N2, N3, or N4), where the maximum extension in N2 was 126%.
