一种新型变曲率摩擦摆力学性能的试验研究

Experimental study on mechanical properties of a new type of VCFPB

  • 摘要: 变曲率摩擦摆支座可同时隔振长周期和短周期地震动作用,其性能优于传统摩擦摆。然而随着滑移位移的增加,球面聚四氟乙烯板与金属滑盘之间接触面积减小、吻合度降低,限制了变曲率摩擦摆的隔震效果。为解决该问题,发展了一种新型变曲率摩擦摆,用两个正交的反对凹梁代替传统的金属滑盘,用平面聚四氟乙烯板代替球面聚四氟乙烯板,并通过往复动力加载试验对其力学性能进行研究,建立了新型摩擦摆的力学模型。

     

    Abstract: The performance of a variable curvature friction pendulum bearing (VCFPB) is superior to a traditional friction pendulum because the VCFPB can isolate short- and long- period ground motion at the same time. However, the contact area between the spherical polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) plate and the metal slide decreases with the increase of slip displacement. This limits the isolation performance of VCFPB. In order to overcome this drawback, a new type of VCFPB is developed, in which the metal slide plate used for a traditional friction pendulum is replaced by two orthogonal opposed concave beams, and the plane PTFE plate is designed to replace the spherical PTFE. The mechanical properties of the new VCFPB were verified through a dynamic testing, and the mechanical model of the new VCFPB is established by the experimental data.
