超大型结构物受波浪力作用的数值模拟

NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF WAVE FORCES ON VERY LARGE STRUCTURES

  • 摘要: 为了计算波浪效应下超大型结构物所受的波浪力,该文运用σ坐标变换来追踪随时间变化的自由液面,添加了浸没边界法(IBM)来处理不规则结构物表面,建立了基于大涡模拟(LES)方法的三维数值模型。为验证该数值模型的正确定,运用该模型来模拟规则波作用下大直径垂直圆柱的绕射问题,圆柱周围的波浪爬高数值解与解析解吻合良好。运用该三维数值模型,模拟了波浪与南京长江三桥南塔钢套箱相互作用的问题,数值计算出的结构物所受的波浪力与试验数据吻合良好,表明该数值模型能够很好地模拟工程中三维波浪与超大型结构物相互作用的问题。

     

    Abstract: To calculate the forces acting on very large structures under the effects of waves, a three-dimensional numerical model based on the large eddy simulation (LES) method was developed, in which the σ-coordinate transformation was used to track time-dependent free surfaces and the immersed boundary method (IBM) was added to deal with irregular structure surfaces. To verify the accuracy of the numerical model, it was used to simulate regular wave diffraction around a large-diameter vertical circular cylinder. The numerical results for wave height around the cylinder agreed well with those from the analytical solution. Using the three-dimensional numerical model, wave interaction with a boxed steel cofferdam in South Pylon of the 3rd Nanjing Changjiang River Bridge was simulated. The obtained wave forces agreed well with the experimental data, which means that the three-dimensional numerical model is capable of simulating the interaction between three-dimensional wave and very large structures in engineering.
